Ekaterina Olkina is a Russian actress born on November 8, 1985, in Kotlas, Russia. She grew up in Samara, where she was involved in various activities such as dancing, swimming, and painting. Her passion for singing led her to participate in a Russian-French musical project called "L'autre monde" at the age of fifteen, which marked the beginning of her interest in becoming an actress. Olkina pursued acting after initially planning to study English philology. She attended the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts (GITIS), where she was encouraged to explore film acting. She made her screen debut in 2006 in the historical detective film "Stalin.Live" and has since appeared in various films and TV series, including "The Sovereign's Servant" (2007), "The Three Musketeers" (2013), and "Night Swallows" (2013)​( Kinoteatr )​( Biographs )​( Шоубум ).
