Gratiela Brancusi is a Romanian-American actress born on July 23, 1989, in Timișoara, Romania. She is best known for her breakout role as Noemi in the Paramount+ series 1883, a prequel to Yellowstone, where she portrayed a Romani widow traveling westward. Her role in 1883 brought her recognition in the U.S. acting scene, leading to further roles, including in the series Mayor of Kingstown in 2023. Brancusi studied journalism at the University of Bucharest before transitioning to acting. She has also been involved with The Actors' Gang Theater Ensemble in Los Angeles. In her personal life, she was married to actor Tim Robbins from 2017 until their divorce in 2022.
