Ilmur Kristjánsdóttir is an Icelandic actress, screenwriter, and politician, born on March 19, 1978, in Reykjavík, Iceland. She is best known for her role as Hinrika, the deputy police officer, in the popular Icelandic TV series "Trapped" (Ófærð), which has gained international recognition. Ilmur graduated from the Icelandic Academy of the Arts in 2003 and has since had a successful career in both film and television. Some of her notable works include "Virgin Mountain", "White Night Wedding", and "Dís". In addition to her acting career, she has also written and created content for Icelandic television. Beyond her work in entertainment, Ilmur ventured into politics in 2014, representing the Bright Future party and serving on the Reykjavik welfare committee. She is also an active supporter of UNICEF Iceland.
