Jasmin Savoy Brown, born on March 21, 1994, in Alameda, California, is an American actress best known for her roles in major TV series and films. She rose to fame for her portrayal of Evangeline Murphy in HBO's The Leftovers (2015-2017) and as Allison Adams in the ABC legal drama For the People (2018-2019). More recently, she gained recognition for her role as Taissa Turner in the hit Showtime series Yellowjackets (2021–present), which has been a major success. In addition to her television work, Brown starred in the 2022 horror film Scream as Mindy Meeks-Martin and reprised the role in Scream VI (2023). She also voiced Phin Mason/Tinkerer in the video game Spider-Man: Miles Morales (2020). Identifying as queer and a biracial woman, Jasmin is also a vocal advocate for LGBTQ+ representation. Her acting career has expanded into voice work, and she is also a singer, having released tracks such as "Orange Wine" and "goddamnit" on YouTube.
